Not to mention, both of them are still a bit gap-y & stilted.

While you can get used to her voice a little bit into this video, that last note she sings is just ear grating.īoth Meiko while singing the last notes & me while listing to them.Īnd while Gacha can handle higher pitches, the ones he was given here still sound awful. Her voice, when raised high enough, sounds awful since it’s so unnatural. Ok let me explain myself Lily i told you i was about to explain turn the lighter off: Both of their voices are really high pitched here, and while this makes sense for Gacha, it’s doesn’t for Miss Meiko. Let’s look at another song of his, this time a duet with Meiko, Set Me Free: It’s not a bad song at all, it just has some tuning problems with Ryuto’s voice here & there. The techno beat is good & dandy, doesn’t feel too crowded, and feels a lot like a mood piece of sorts. While in the beginning of the song Ryuto sounds a bit rough & unrefined, he gets much better (or at least more bearable) later in the song. This means that Yamma felt as if Gache’s best song was one where he was very quiet sounding.īut in all honesty though, this is actaully a pretty nice calming song. The first song I’ll share, and maybe my favorite, is on the Vocaloid CD that Yamma recently released to give newbies a good taste of Vocaloid, is called GAJAPINAX: Because I’m extremely cruel when someone’s trying to set my sketchbook on fire. I have about 4 songs of him that I know are originals on my personel right now, so I’ll share them all with you. I can hear all you Luka fans withering in agony right now. So, as a sample of how one producer handles his voice, here’s a cover of him doing Toeto. Most of the time you get covers when you look Ryuto or Gachapoid up. Sadly, Lola, Tonio, & Miriam are the only ones with less videos that have already been released. Even Kiyoteru has over 3,000 videos of himself on there. Which means there’s less than 1000 videos for his music on youtube. Lily please don’t mess up my sketchbook it’s my baby please don’t do this to me i’m complying to your demands…Īnyways, as I said before, most producers have a tendency to shy away from Gacha. I actually wasn’t going to review Ryuto at first due to his lack of songs & his off sounding voice, but, er, someone…. …unfortunately, he’s almost universally ignored/hated/shunned in the western fandom, and almost all producers have an aversion to using him since he sounds so inhuman. According to the Vocaloid Wiki, he’s intended for children’s usage, which is quiet the noble aim & is something I can admire.

This character was a dinosaur-like creature, thus why he sounds quiet inhuman. Ltd, Gachapoid (His mascot being named Ryuto) was based on a popular pre-exisiting character named Gachapin on Hirake! Ponkikki. Released on October 8th, 2009, by INTERNET Co.
